Primitive Insect

Insects have a life comparable to a dance: short, ephemeral and intense.

Bodies that support architectures, as we humans do with our invisible armors, with our shells and daily burdens.
This piece will try to harmonize the heartbreaking with the subtle beauty of what happens in the tiny and improvised scenarios of nature. That “ying / yang” in permanent dialogue.

What would happen if we humans lived, every day, with the memory of the memento mori of a primitive insect?

Perhaps our life, also ephemeral, could be presented as an atavistic and sublime dance. To dance, to live consciously.

“I am passionate about the life of insects, there’s all Shakespeare and Sade…”
(Luis Buñuel)
